Our new wavefront measuring device
In 1802, the English ophthalmologist and physicist Thomas Young discovered the wave nature of light.
Today, even the most modern measuring devices are fundamentally based on this principle.
As its name suggests, our measuring device measures light wavefronts and their displacement relative to each other after they have passed through your eye.
The sensor is capable of detecting the smallest differences in the µm range, thus measuring your eye with great precision.
This allows us to accurately determine your objective spectacle values and possible aberrations to within 1/100 diopter, and then evaluate them.
2 Measurement Methods – And why both are important:

Objective Refraction
Performed by the measuring device and independent of the personal assessment of visual quality.
It is based exclusively on optical physics and provides a foundation upon which to build.

Subjective refraction
Through targeted questions posed by our trained personnel to you personally, the visual impression you find most comfortable will be determined.
Because not every objectively measured spectacle prescription is automatically the most tolerable.
